Working Schedule: Work hours per day: 10 hrs/day Workdays per Week: 6 days/week Workday per Month: 26 days/month Work Location/Assignment Type: Qatar Onshore.

Job Purpose
Provide subject matter expertise in process engineering for Studies, FEED, and Detailed Design/EPC phases of the Compression project, leading greenfield and brownfield activities. Ensure technical compliance, develop fit-for-purpose solutions, and provide guidance to EPC contractors. Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to optimize Topsides and facilities integration. Oversee deliverables, conduct technical evaluations, and address complex issues. Support project goals within budget and schedule while mentoring Qatari employees and fostering their development.

Key Responsibilities Lead Process Engineering: Oversee studies, FEED, detailed design, and EPC activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements. Deliver Excellence: Drive quality assurance for deliverables, including simulations, calculations, studies, and technical reports. Optimize Designs: Participate in design workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, etc.), ensuring fit-for-purpose solutions. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders (Operations, OES, E&P) to achieve seamless integration. Mentor Talent: Provide guidance to team members and contribute to the professional development of Qatari engineers.
Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical/Process Engineering. 15+ years of experience in oil and gas projects, with a minimum of: 10 years in process engineering. 5 years in a similar leadership position. Extensive knowledge of: Offshore (greenfield/brownfield) facilities design, construction, and operations. Process engineering design standards, codes, and safety criteria. Experience managing Tier-1 EPC contractors on large-scale offshore platforms, pipelines, and onshore facilities. Skills Strong leadership and team-building abilities. Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Fluent in English with exceptional communication capabilities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering tools.
