Process Engineering Technician
A partner of Insight Global is looking for a 3rd Shift Process Engineering Technician to join their team. The Process Engineering Technician is responsible for assisting in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure the production of high-quality products. This role involves working closely with process engineers and production teams to implement process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and maintain equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Process Support: Assist process engineers in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency and product quality.

Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to production processes, including measurements of flow rates, temperatures, pressures, and other key process variables.

Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues in the production process, working with the engineering team to resolve problems and implement corrective actions.

Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to processes, equipment, or materials that could enhance efficiency, reduce costs, or improve product quality.

Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance, calibration, and repair of production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of process parameters, equipment performance, and any changes made to the production process. Prepare reports on process performance and improvement initiatives.

Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that processes consistently produce products that meet quality standards and specifications.

Training: Provide training to production staff on new or revised processes, procedures, and equipment operation.

Safety Compliance: Ensure that all processes are in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Participate in safety audits and risk assessments as needed.

Prototype Testing: Assist in the testing and evaluation of new processes, equipment, and materials during the development of new products or process enhancements.
