Key Accountabilities (Major results the job is expected to achieve)
1. Lead OPEX team in Japan for Margin and Productivity improvement, support team members to deliver good Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) workshop or any multifunctional activities (Sometimes demonstrate by facilitating/ leading Kaizen).
2. Develop strategic action plans and training plan to strengthen capability of Kaizen in Japan Supply Chain gemba, align with APAC strategies. 3. 3. Develop Frequently used Kaizen practice and tools applicable for Japan such as Problem Solving (A3), Daily Management, 5S etc….
4. Join complex/ large project as professional of Kaizen or project management, such as ERP upgrade
5. Manage and Track Kaizen Impact which workshops done by Japan Supply Chain associates
6. Develop/ improve visibility of SC productivity and effectiveness to achieve KPI
(LIFR, CS Cost, W&D Cost, Inventory, Warehouse Operations, etc)
7. Design/ upgrade Japan Operations align with APAC/Global process and policies
8. Responsible for the performance management metrics/scorecard, by driving Kaizen or Problem Solving
9. Maintain team engagement and provide coaching to develop a sustainable team with professionals
10. Support the SC Director and other SC managers to deliver Japan supply chain strategies and target
Knowledge and experience needed for satisfactory performance of the job
+5 years of work experience as Lean Kaizen, and Project Management, various experiences are preferred such as Facilitators, Leaders, and Kaizen Team Members, and Observer. Demonstrate Leadership, Ownership and Followership by the role (Certificate is not mandatory but PMP, Six Sigma type of training will help)Demonstrate the strength in Auditory and Visual in Learning StyleComprehensive knowledge and Work Experience in Order to Cash and End to End Supply Chain, such as minimum 2 years in Customer Service, and/or, 2 years in Warehouse/Logistics, and/or, 2 years of Planning work experience in GembaTeam Management experience, organizational skills to demonstrated capacity to develop and implement practical strategies, action plans, and problem solvingTaking initiative in delivering organizational priorities effectively under pressure when facing extremely short deadlines Mindset of GrowthMindset, Share and Reapply of new concept or skills to lead change management with global communication skillCritical thinking, Logical thinking to help with describing problem to improve the situationGood Team Player, with social skillsLeadership Presence and representing key Manager of Supply ChainExperience should include familiarity with products in a Medical/Healthcare fieldBachelor’s degree or equivalent and proven job-related experience or aboveStay connected and receive alerts for jobs like this by joining our talent community.
