Process Expert, Fixed Asset/Bank Reconciliation

Responsible in processing of APLL request for funds (RFF application), asset capitalization, disposals/ transfer, monthly closing and Fixed Assets Journal posting for APL Logistics and preparing monthly bank reconciliation report for US, Asia & Middle East region within a fixed timeline after period close.

Performs fixed assets capitalization, transfer, disposal and reclassification requestConducts monthly closing on each asset entity, performs analysis and ensures accuracyPrepares Fixed assets monthly reporting for stakeholdersAccurately and timely processes of Request for Funds (RFF) in SAP system as well as sending on approval reminder email dailyWorks closely with stakeholders to ensure all fixed assets related issues are resolved and/or escalated in a timely mannerEnsures accuracy, necessary documents are obtained for each transaction and accordance to PolicyProcesses and handles FA related daily operational requirementsMonitors outstanding items and ensures it is clear by period Proposes solutions and adjustment entries to countries (if necessary)Liaises with stakeholder in any FA related outstanding itemsConducts JE posting for any FA related reclassificationReconciles monthly bank statement against GL postingInvestigates and follows-up on unreconciled items with respective countriesProposes solutions and adjustment entries to countries whenever necessaryInvolves in month end closing by ensuring all bank related JEs such as bank charges, WHT, interest, FX and etc are posted before closedProvides feedback to superior on any potential process improvements within the teamAssists team leaders in any ad hoc queryProvides feedback to superior on potential process improvementsCandidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy / Finance or holder of a recognized professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA & etc)At least 2 - 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this positionPreferably candidate having accountancy background, with working experience in a Share services centreExcellent written and oral communication skills Proven effective listening skills Demonstrated ability to work in a global team and matrixed environment Strong Microsoft office tools experience Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a positive attitude Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks Background experience working in a supply chain and logistics environment and/or shared services/captive business set-up is preferred
