Job DescriptionMain objective of the job:
Support the design, configuration, and successful deployment of the down payment process within our SAP system. Translate business requirements into functional solutions in SAP FI, specifically around customer down payment processes, ensuring compliance with tax regulations within our SAP systems, while managing and coordinating cross-functional efforts to meet tax obligations efficiently.Specific job responsibilities:
Lead the functional design and configuration of down payment processes in SAP FI (Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable).Coordinate with various departments to ensure that tax requirements are effectively implemented in all relevant processes.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define process flows for down payments.Configure SAP settings for down payment transactions, clearing rules, special G/L indicators, tax treatment, and automatic payment programs.Work with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Treasury, Accounting, IT) to ensure process alignment and data integrity.Support unit testing, integration testing (IT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) for down payment scenarios.Develop training materials and provide end-user training during go-live.Troubleshoot issues during implementation and post-go-live hypercare support.Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding the application of tax requirements and best practices in SAP.QualificationsUniversity degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.Fluent in English (writing & speaking).Proven experience in implementing indirect tax requirements in accounting processes, preferably within SAP systems.Understanding of indirect tax regulations in B2R, B2C, and I2P processes.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering tax-related implementations on time.Experience with SAP R/3, S/4HANA, or other relevant ERP systems.Strong understanding of international indirect tax regulations.Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.Very good presentation skills.Strong personality with leadership potential, a proactive approach, and a 'can-do' attitude.Team player.Additional Information
