Smartsheet Finance Operations is seeking an analytical, results-driven Systems and Process Improvement Analyst to join our team.

 

This is a critical role responsible for elevating our operational efficiency. You will assist with developing and maintaining robust Tableau reporting and play a significant part in the design and implementation of key operational changes across the department. We are looking for a self-starter and fast learner who possesses a strong ability to understand financial systems. Responsibilities:

Gain an understanding of Smartsheet FinOps Systems  and underlying data structure to assist with reporting and process improvement Develop and maintain recurring financial and operational reporting to enable management to monitor team objectives and metrics Produce ad-hoc reports to assist with management analysis and decision making Efficiently extract and analyze data from financial systems  Develop forecasting models for finance operation activities and metrics Leverage understanding of team objectives, key metrics and financial systems to develop and improve processes within Finance Operations through the use of our tech stack.  Provide business intelligence for internal business partners/customers. Work in coordination with the broader team to provide support, analysis and reports as needed Gather and summarize data from a variety of data sources; perform data collection and cleansing Validate report results and ensure data integrity Create visual representations of data; be a storyteller Create and/or improve monthly and quarterly reporting processes and procedures

Requirements:

Tableau Report Building is a must.  Deep operational knowledge in the core areas of payment processing, including Wires, ACH, Credit Card processing, and Credit Card Fees or  experience with Collections analysis, specifically managing aging buckets and related metrics (e.g., WDTP). Prior experience with AI and machine learning tools for process optimization is a definite asset. Prior experience with Stripe, Bankings systems, Tesorio is a plus.  Advanced Excel skills, including complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, charting, formulas, and data manipulation. Experience using visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other Business Intelligence tools Excellent verbal, written and data presentation skills Strong attention to detail and quality Effectively manages competing priorities Flexibility and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities Flexibility to work independently and in a team environment.
