The Process Improvement intern will be responsible as a process improvement intern you will work with management and the continuous improvement engineer 

 

What your responsibilities will be:

 

Support Accelerated Improvement Workshops mainly focused on the improvement of efficiency in different production areas, leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Investigate and document process best practices to be shared across the shop Support the implementation of lean methodologies, including 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain), to optimize workplace organization and efficiency. Assist in collecting and analysing data to measure process performance and identify improvement opportunities, adhering to Lean Six Sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control) methodology Assist in collecting and analysing data to measure process performance and identify improvement opportunities Participate in brainstorming sessions and kaizen events to generate innovative solutions to process challenges. Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement within the organization Display reports in meetings to management and external groups Other tasks as assigned by manager

 

What you will bring:

Currently pursuing a degree in: Science or Engineering Highly motivated individuals who can collaborate in teams and be a self-starter Not afraid to ask questions and be curious, with willingness to learn Computer skills, Office 365, especially Excel Highly focused, with an analytical mindset to find solutions for problems Problem solving Detail Oriented Open mindset to work with people from different culture backgrounds Strong communication skills
