We are seeking a talented individual to join our Central Operations Services (COS) team and play a pivotal role in the evolution of our EU External Fulfilment (EF) network.

With approximately 35 sites operating flexible solutions, EF provides network capacity solve, special fulfilment, and market expansion solutions across EU. As EF undergoes a technological shift to Amazon Fulfilment Technology eXternalized (AFTX), we need to develop enhanced expertise in Inbound, ICQA and Outbound process paths to help scale an optimized operational execution support model for EU and out of EU geographies for our 3PL (third party logistics) partners.

That's where the EF Subject Matter Specialists (SMS) team comes in. As the COS Specialized function, the SMS team will operate on a consultancy mode with missions across EU bringing the highest benchmark expertise on IB/OB processes applied to the 3PL. The portfolio of assignments will have both “proactive” projects such as site launches or new process roll-outs and “reactive” projects such as underperformance recovery or productivity improvements workshops. The role we are hiring will lead that team.


Key job responsibilities
As the EF SMS Manager, you will have a high impact pan-EU role responsible for driving the process excellence for the EF Network. You will focus on :
- Leading a team of highly skilled Subject Matter Specialists based across EU, delivering a results oriented proactive or reactive support on their area of expertise to the 3PL buildings.
- Managing the portfolio of projects to be conducted by the SMS team in close collaboration with OE/ACES/3PL Ops leadership. Decide on prioritizations and ensure deliverables are clearly defined, setting clear stakeholders’ expectations.
- Coordinating the staffing of the specialists on the different assignments, ensuring the right adequation of resources required to deliver results on time. When needed demonstrate a hands-on approach to support your team on the most challenging project blockers.
- Establishing a strong partnership with ACES/L&D/Benchmarking CF teams to capture & transfer into EF the latest features & best practices from AFT, keeping 3PL Legacy & AFTx buildings at par with the latest FC benchmarks.
- Developing a continuous training support to equip your SMS team with the latest state-of-the-art knowledge on their area of expertise. This knowledge development cover AFT processes but also Lean / Continuous Improvement work methodologies.
- Designing a performance measurement mechanism, quantifying the impact of the work delivered by the team and translate it into financials terms for future commercial applications.

This role will involve about 30% travel and must be based from our Luxembourg office
