Description
We are looking for a skilled Process Improvement/Re-Engineering Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Seattle, Washington.
This hybrid role (primarily remote) requires someone detail-oriented who can evaluate and refine business processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy. You will play an integral part in enhancing workflows and systems to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed process evaluations, including mapping and documentation, to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design workflows that align with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
• Serve as the process lead for various sub-processes within the Record-to-Report framework, including cash management, transactional control, close and consolidation, and analysis and reporting.
• Utilize ERP solutions, such as NetSuite, to implement and optimize process improvements.
• Perform gap analyses to identify discrepancies between current and ideal workflows.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all process changes and improvements.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and data workflows.
• Ensure accurate accounting practices are followed, from transaction recording to consolidation reporting.
• Provide guidance and support for auditing processes to ensure compliance.
• Create visually clear and actionable process maps to drive understanding and adoption of new workflows.
Requirements • Proven experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite or equivalent Tier I or Tier II software.
• Expertise in process design, mapping, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including transaction recording and consolidation reporting.
• Ability to act as a process lead for Record-to-Report sub-processes.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct gap analyses and propose actionable solutions.
• Familiarity with auditing practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills to drive continuous improvement efforts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
