Position Summary
Process innovation's most critical objective is to ensure machines are operating correctly and efficiently throughout the main lines and sub lines.Role and Responsibilities
Second Shift (6pm-2:40am)
Level 2 and above should be able to perform the tasks and meet the basic requirements for the previous level.
Level 1
- Patrol the machines in their assigned area to ensure operation
- Report any breakdowns or machine malfunctions to the team
- Cross train on multiple machines
- Learn how to troubleshoot and repair breakdowns
- All other duties as assigned
Level 2
- Machine inspection by using proper tools
- Basic preventative maintenance (i.e. proper lubrication, chain inspection, sensor inspection, etc.)
- All other duties as assigned
Level 3
- Perform daily tasks to verify and follow-up on quality standards & rules
- Perform root cause analysis on quality defects caused by machine malfunctions, then report to the team
- Perform basic repairs
- All other duties as assigned
Level 4
- Troubleshoot equipment directly tied to production line performance
- Replace worn out and defective parts of machines
- Workshop equipment knowledge required
- All other duties as assigned
Level 5
- Collaborate with production and engineering to implement, optimize, and troubleshoot test loops used on the during production line to validate product quality, safety, and functional performance of new equipment/parts in critical function areas
- Monitor critical machine functions to ensure quality and process are correctly followed
- Support projects focused on quality, safety, and productivity throughout product lifecycle
- Basic PLC Knowledge required

Skills and Qualifications
1. Education and experience:

1 HSD/GED, 1 year
2 HSD/GED, 1.5 years
3 HSD/GED, 2 years
4 AS degree, 0-1 yrs. HSD/GED, 3-4 years
5 AS degree, 1-3 yrs. HSD/GED, 4-5 years
2. Knowledge:
+ Understand the assembly process
+ Know how to use mechanical/electrical tools
+ Must be able to speak, read, and write English
+ Basic aptitude and knowledge about plant maintenance
3. Skills:
+ Good organizational skills, team play and work efficiently are required
+ Trouble shooting, multi-tasking, screwing, cutting, assembling
+ Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
+ The ability to make timely decisions and provide feedback to others
+ Have a strong desire for personal and professional development
4. Physical requirement:
+ The ability to stand up for 8 - 10 hours a day required
+ The ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
+ Must be able to climb, twist, and reach
+ Must be able to work on equipment in awkward positions
+ The ability to work with components that are in constant motion along an assembly line without adverse effects
+ Need to be able to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
