Summary:

 

As our Process Lead, you will become the architect of change. You’ll lead the charge in driving the Hershey Lean Operating System at our plant by building and implementing process improvements. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring the smooth functioning of our production lines while championing safety, efficiency, and quality. You won’t just identify problems; you’ll lead the charge in eliminating them through data-driven solutions and innovative thinking.

In addition, the Process Lead will:

Master of Efficiency: Optimize production time and control processes without compromising on safety and quality. You’ll own systems like Centerlines (CL) and Rapid Changeovers (RCO). Data Ninja: Manage loss data and track performance. Use your analytical powers to find and eliminate waste, bringing us closer to a zero-loss environment. Standards Guru: Develop and manage operating standards that drive excellence in daily tasks (think product changeovers, mechanical adjustments) while coaching operators and mechanics to execute flawlessly. Problem-Solving Jedi: Lead daily problem-solving efforts. You'll be the go-to expert for identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies and delivering rapid, effective solutions. Continuous Improvement Architect: Collaborate with the Business Unit leader, Line Lead, and core team to drive system improvements that ensure stable and efficient operations. Lean Warrior: Train, coach, and inspire your team to embrace a lean mindset, turning every obstacle into an opportunity for improvement.

 

Skills and Experience:

3+ years of experience in a high-speed, automated manufacturing environment. Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and tools like Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred). Comfortable with tech tools like OSI PI, PowerApps, PowerBI, and O365.

 

Minimum Requirements and Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
