Production Process Engineer
What this position is about – Purpose:
As Production Process Engineer you will be in charge of the continuous improvement of processes in the assigned Production Area and with generating improvement projects in close collaboration with Production Lines Specialists.
You will also be responsible for coordinating technical and process improvement activities in order to meet production targets (KPIs and other internal targets), in line with EHS guidelines and ensuring 5S standards.
What will you do - Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain data collection and analysis systems for specific products and process parameters to identify and address process inefficiencies.
Optimize equipment settings and develop associated systems (e.g., Centerline, Changeover, Change Management) in collaboration with line teams.
Identify, prioritize, and eliminate process losses while improving capability, control, and defining equipment standards, including managing change processes and implementing best practices.
Collaborate with line specialists to prioritize improvement opportunities, establish daily priorities, report results, and allocate necessary resources to eliminate inefficiencies.
Participate in planned downtime and product changes to standardize and optimize changeover processes, ensuring effective implementation and training for changes.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies, actively promote safe work behaviors, address unsafe conditions, and adhere to contamination prevention measures.
Who are we looking for - Requirements:
Education: Technical University degree (preferably in Industrial Engineering)
Work experience: Relevant work experience in production
Language: Good knowledge of English and Romanian, both verbal and written.
Other skills and knowledge:
Proficient in using MS Office (Excel - advanced level). Experience in working with SAP is considered an advantage.
Strong team-working, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Very good understanding of production processes.
Data analysis and processing knowledge.
Excellent planning and organizing abilities.
Ability to coordinate production-related projects
Presentation skills.
