What You'll Do Must champion Safety and promote safety by example in all aspects of the operations Responsible for establishing and maintaining production procedures and recordkeeping of process changes Ensure an environment of continuous improvement is maintained and work closely with other CMC counterparts to identify areas of improvement Oversee production to ensure quality standards are met and assist the QC department in identifying root causes and eliminating identified issues Implement and maintain all Job Safety Analysis and Work Instruction documents for the electric arc furnace and ladle metallurgical furnace. Manage, schedule, and provide direction for day to day operations of electric arc furnace and ladle metallurgical station. Report KPIs and consumables for the electric arc furnace and ladle metallurgical station. Build, implement and maintain continuous development programs for teams in the EAF/LMF area to include safety, cost savings, and production. What You'll Need Decision-making abilities with excellent customer service and both verbal and written communication skills Have knowledge and understanding of OSHA requirements and general melting industry best safety practices Must be a people-oriented team builder and work closely with the maintenance team. Ability to work with other Managers as a part of the Management Team Possess strong management skills with the ability to oversee Shift supervisors and hourly employees in a Non-Union environment Your Education High School Diploma or GED required
