This position is an opportunity to apply your analytical, collaboration, and communication skills to drive improvements across our processing operations.   You will exercise your abilities and creativity to help solve today’s challenges around operating efficiency, emerging digital technologies, and sustainability.  This position reports directly to the Sr. Area Manager - Operational Excellence.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Daily process monitoring, hands-on troubleshooting and collaboration with operating teamReviewing key performance indicators associated with the assigned area to provide technical guidance on operating and maintenance practices to support productivity, efficiency and qualityImplementing projects to improve the competitiveness of the operation while establishing and managing project milestones and resource requirementsUtilizing data to assist with business planning and forecastingDriving culture change to instill focus on fact-based management practices via the use of Lean Six Sigma and other problem-solving methodologiesCandidate must demonstrate:Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary groups to drive resultsPossess excellent computer, communication and writing skills, as well as an interest in hands-on assignments in a manufacturing environmentCapability to analyze, interpret and communicate process dataUnderstanding of experimental design and analysis to test hypothesesAbility to apply statistical methods and analysis to dataUnderstanding that safety as a core value in all aspects of workRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Minerals Processing Engineering, Extractive Metallurgy, or related scientific fieldThis is a safety sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol testingPreferred Skills:
