Job purpose Working with Enterprise Engineering Systems (EES) leadership and within the EES organization, while also acting as liaison to the overarching IT organization and business stakeholders, this position will be responsible for Process and Methods development, implementation, monitoring, measuring, and continuous improvement within EES. With a heavy focus on collaboration, consensus building, and negotiation skills, this position is expected to utilize expert and referent authority and business acumen to ensure EES processes and methods are in alignment with corporate requirements, goals and objectives. This position will align Enterprise IT, BU IT, GSM IT, and Finance IT to ensure EES Leadership is informed of where their processes intersect with EES processes while providing actionable recommendations. Key responsibilities + EES process development and continuous improvement for Plan Build Run teams. + Partner with Plan Build Run leadership to ensure implementation of processes meet BorgWarner quality standards while also ensuring efficient utilization of EES resources. + Modeling EES processes in Stages, that will include but not limited to process flow diagrams; process steps and detailed descriptions; RASIC tables and links to inter-dependent processes. + Develop KPIs utilizing Six Sigma tools when appropriate (as determined by EES leadership). + Collaborate with EES Run team leadership ServiceNow leadership to ensure help desk systems support EES processes without negatively impacting resource utilization. Leverage automation and or AI technologies to minimize human resource utilization in redundant or repetitive tasks. + Engage ITPPM and EES EPMO office to ensure consistency to EES processes in Demand Management and Project Execution. What we’re looking for + 10+ years Project Management or IT Systems experience. + Knowledgeable with BorgWarner IT Engineering Systems to be able to seamlessly communicate with IT Engineering Subject Matter Experts. + Expert knowledge with PMP principles to be able to coach others. + Working knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management systems. + Self-sufficiency in using Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel and MS Project). + Coach others on navigating manufacturing, engineering and business organizational structures. Overall Process Management: + Chair process discovery and development sessions. + Uses the Project Management Methodology to execute process development and implementation process projects in the Planning, Discovery and Execution and Closing Phases. + Develops project plans/schedules/roadmaps based on larger high level project plans. + Produces clear and concise project deliverables. Facilitates review meetings and produces meeting minutes. + Implements scope and direction agreed to during planning phase. Ensures smooth transition to operations and ensures clear process frameworks are in place to objectively assess organizational and operational impacts. + Understands how/when to use milestone steps/deliverables in methodology to accomplish goals effectively. + Performs P-D-C-A activities ensure transparency and measure success. + Maintains accurate and informative process development information in a manner that can be easily rolled up into larger processes or strategy. + Manages key stakeholders. Provides regular updates to EES and IT Leadership as needed. + Manages risks and issues and develops appropriate contingency and mitigation plans. Supervision / Administration: + Conduct supervisory tasks (time accounting, resource leveling, escalation management) as needed. + Improve employee performance by providing feedback and conducting coaching sessions; implement Lessons Learned methodologies. + Conduct and or organize candidate interviews. + Establish critical, significant, optional skills criteria needed for filling open (direct or contractor) positions + Assist with strategy development and managing goals and objectives for the group. Basic Skills: + Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP at the workstation/enterprise level, etc.). + Demonstrated competency across multiple platforms / OS / DB. + Assess, recommend, develop, implement and test information technology solutions. + Maintains a business and IT application focus. + Understands manufacturing and automotive business environment. + Understands and implements appropriate IT security measures. + Works with IT staff and functional areas to ensure technology effectiveness.
