About this role

CC&V mine is seeking a Process Operations Foreperson  responsible for the safe operation of the Crushing, and Adsorption Desorption Recovery Plants. The role is accountable for overseeing the scheduling, coordinating and supervising the work of all plants, ensuring that all work is delivered safely on time, and within budget along with managing equipment and material required to do the job safely and productively. 

Your role will consist of Safety of yourself, direct reports and team membersEnvironmental Compliance Safe operation of all plant equipmentMonitor all process KPI performance – and implement strategies on ways to improveUnderstand production targets and share with multiple teamsWork very closely with process day shift foreperson  Cost Control – Reagents    Be part of hiring, mentoring, coaching  and succession planningDaily communication with Process maintenance Be visible in the field and relate with team members 80% of the time Assist with the evaluation of improvement projectsEmployees must comply with state and federal safety and health regulations, company policies and procedures, and the company's environmental compliance policyAssist in Environmental State and Compliance Inspection Conduct staff meetings, safety meetings and Pre- Start Meeting when needed. Ensure line-of-progression is determined and acted upon. Ensure training at all levels is being performedDevelop standard operating procedures for Process Operations teamCollaborate with others to effectively implement change management and recognize best practicesManage performance issues when necessary. Develop and coach employees in order to retain and grow organizational talent. Your Training, Skills & Experience checklist 3+ years’ work experience as a supervisor or 5-7 years’ experience in Process operations  Proven leadership skills desiredGood computer skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work directly with othersStrong knowledge of gold processing operations, including crushing, Adsorption Desorption Recovery Plants , and ancillary systems.Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams in a high-pressure environmentWorking Conditions & Location Position based in the United States at the Cripple Creek & Victor Mine, located in Teller County Colorado with elevations up to 10,400 dt above sea level. This role involves working in industrial settings with exposure to heavy equipment, chemicals, and varying environmental conditions.Tasks may include standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Occasional climbing and working at heights.Full-time position with occasional extended hours or weekend work depending on operational needs.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.  The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.  


This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
