**1st shift**
**The Role:**
**The Process Operator position is responsible for functions associated with inbound bulk ingredient unloading (receiving) and mill room (batching).**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Unloaded trucks and rail cars and perform inventory movements**
+ **Perform all shift documentation for quality purposes**
+ **Obtain ingredient samples and bin measurements**
+ **Must be forklift certified or have the ability to qualify**
+ **Understand production schedules, computer systems, work instructions and inventory procedures to ensure accurate reporting**
+ **Communicate to ensure materials are replenished in a timely manner**
+ **Accurately perform quality checks and complete documentation without error**
+ **Maintain a safe and clean work area**
+ **Maintains accurate records of QC checks, production numbers or waste performance**
+ **Demonstrates high degree of ownership for product quality**
+ **Performs all standard quality checks & other quality related duties**
+ **Ability to understand production schedules, production computer systems, work instructions and production inventories**
+ **Other duties and responsibilities as assigned**
**Physical/Environmental Requirements:**
+ **Standing on a concrete floor**
+ **Must be capable of working at elevated heights and or confined space**
+ **Wear proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform)**
+ **Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 55 lbs.**
+ **Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust dirt and chemicals**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ **Be 18 years of age or older**
+ **Have a High school diploma, GED or equivalent education**
+ **Must be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules**
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ **3+ years of manufacturing experience operating a variety of machines**
+ **2 years of work experience within manufacturing, or a technical and/or trade discipline**
+ **Working knowledge of food safety practices**
+ **Computer experience**
+ **Knowledge of inventory control principles**
**Compensation and Benefits**
Salary Range $18,70 - $22,00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
