Position Overview International Parts has an exciting opportunity for a Process Owner - Warehouse Operations at our headquarters in Lisle, IL. The Process Owner - Warehouse Operations is a people and Warehouse process leader and will report into the Sr. Project/Program Owner. The position will lead a team of implementation leads responsible for the implementation of a tier 1 WMS and Labor Management system to replace our legacy system. In this position you will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of our current processes and providing leadership as we transform our network. This position will be based out of our Lisle, IL headquarters but will involve extensive travel as we implement this system across our ten Parts Distribution Centers (PDC) in North America. Post project, this position will be responsible for project governance, upgrades, warehouse process improvements to boost warehouse processes efficiency. Responsibilities Complete ownership of the design, process decisions, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process maps and SOPs for all major areas of the WMS system (Inbound, Intrawarehouse, Outbound, Labor Management, Slotting, and Reporting). Provide end-to-end solutions for operations, fulfillment, warehouse, and transportation/logistics maximizing productivity, quality and safety Creating long and short-term plans for team including setting milestones and holding team to deadlines Be the “go to person” for any types of functionality and process issues/challenges, etc Collaborate with team members and leaders in the Service Solutions Group to develop and execute on a cohesive plan to provide a finished product that is delivered on time, under budget and exceeds expectations Foster an atmosphere of teamwork, be a change agent developing and promoting a culture of standardization and continuous improvement (LEAN) Be an advocate/gate keeper of standard solutions and strong believer of “no customization approach” Champions master data integrity, working proactively with internal and external resources to establish best practices Teach and support team members of our Parts Distribution Centers (PDCs) with training and onsite support during launch Provide overall solution governance to ensure global standardization (of business processes and solutions) for new projects, improvements, and break fixes Technology and architecture innovation: keep up to date on the latest developments in the logistics systems area including systems like Manhattan WMOS and other state of the art technologies including IOT, AI, Block Chain, Robotics, etc Develop a strong relationship with the system vendors, Parts Distribution leadership, and the IT team To challenge the processes by applying Lean principals and tolls to boost the warehouse efficiency across the International parts Network. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree At least 8 years of materials management or supply chain experience At least 2 years of management experience OR Master's degree At least 6 years of materials management or supply chain experience At least 2 years of management experience OR At least 10 years of materials management or supply chain experience At least 2 years of management experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills Experience with a tier 1 WMS implementation designing, building and configuring within the solution. Preferred experience with Manhattan WMS and Labor Management with warehouse automation (picking modules, put to light, etc) Operational leadership experience within a distribution center with experience leading, monitoring performance, coaching and process management Strong analytical and decision making with relentless and thorough follow-up skills Work well under pressure Ability to multitask and work in ambiguous situations Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Comfortable dealing with internal and external customers and working thru others not in your reporting structure Efficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams, Project) Experienced in Logistics processes, inbound and outbound Proven experience on process development and improvements Knowledgeable on Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies and practical applications Project Management – proven experience on project coordination Company Overview At International Motors, LLC* (“International”), we’ve never backed away from forging our own path.
