Job Description:

Satair is looking for a Process & Performance Analyst to join our Commercial Process, Performance, & Transformation team based in Herndon, VA.

We are looking for a data-driven individual who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help the Commercial and Support Team develop actionable, data-driven insights and solve business problems using various quantitative tools and core project management skills. The ideal candidate will translate customer satisfaction and order intake expectations (our two primary KPI!) into clear targets for all levels of the company.

Your Challenges:

Primary Responsibilities:

Launch and Lead Performance Improvement Initiatives:      40%

Drive performance improvement initiatives from a customer-focused perspective

Define, design, and develop actionable, data-driven insight

Run/lead data driven root causes analysis and align different functions around a common improvement goal 

Apply quantitative tools and core project management skills to solve critical business problems

Ensure completion of projects on time within budget and with delivery of expected benefits

Participate actively in the major transformation initiatives for the Satair Commercial and Support 

Support other Performance Community (“X”) colleagues and managers with, for example, workshops, documentation, presentations etc.

Actively Monitor and report on critical KPI affecting the Commercial & Support Team:      40%

Proficient in analytics.  Able to utilize data analytics to identify trends, drive business improvements, and solutions  

Create and maintain KPI Dashboards 

Routinely measure improvement, deviation, adherence

Build strong relationships with relevant Satair and Airbus peers to support achievement of performance targets and improvement initiatives

Act as Internal Consultant :      20%

Act as an internal consultant and supporter for end-to-end improvement actions

Understand the processes and pain points, to gather requirements, opportunities and value levers regarding data and possible use of technologies

Additional Responsibilities: 

Support Commercial & Support (ASC) with communication regarding performance initiatives

Support Commercial & Support (ASC) in deploying initiatives globally, as needed.

Other duties as assigned.  

Your Boarding Pass:

University degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Business, Sales Administration, Engineering, Computer science preferred

Minimum 3-5 years working experience in an analyst position or similar, required

2+ years of data analysis experience in a similar sized organization, required

15% Domestic and International travel involved

Authorized to work in the US, required

Advanced Google Suite Skills ( Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms ...)

Intermediate knowledge of SAP, preferred, required

Intermediate knowledge of SalesForce, preferred

Fluency in English, written and verbal, required

Knowledge of other languages (Mandarin ,German, French, Spanish, etc.), a plus

Physical Requirements:

Onsite or remote:  60% / 40% per company policy

Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. 100% 

Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms. 100%

Speaking:  able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. 100%

Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. 100%

Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Limited to not at all.

Lifting:  able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Limited to not at all.

Pushing / Pulling:  able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Limited to not at all.

Sitting:  able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer. Routinely. 

Squatting / Kneeling:  able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.

Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor. Routinely.

Travel:  able to travel independently and at short notice. 10-15% max

Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents):  able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. Limited.

Personal Protective Equipment required:  Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site

Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visit, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.

Ability to work in the US without current, or future, need of visa sponsorship/work authorization is required for this position.
