Job Title: Process Planner

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Process Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating internal routers based on customer needs and specifications, providing exceptional customer service, and coordinating with the Process Planning Manager to expedite orders. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong project coordination skills within a plating facility.

ResponsibilitiesGenerate internal routers based on customer needs and specification requirements.Provide effective customer service to all customers.Confirm sales orders to customers with acknowledgements within 48 hours of sales order receipt.Coordinate with the Process Planning Manager to expedite orders.Print all documentation for job packets, including traveler, prints, inspection sheets, and set-up sheets.Receive, investigate, and respond to all inquiries regarding orders.Assist the Process Planning Manager in monitoring production job progress to ensure on-time delivery.Advise customers of shipment delays, shortages, and special production requirements as necessary.Provide customer feedback to the organization.Essential Skills2-3 years of process planning experience within a plating facility.Experience using computer applications such as basic MS Office and ERP Manufacturing Software.Experience with ERP systems (Visual Shop preferred).High School Diploma or GED.Additional Skills & QualificationsUnderstanding of Military and Aerospace specifications.Familiarity with Aerospace industry documentation, such as AS9100, ISO, and Nadcap specifications.Strong preference for candidates with an Aerospace or Defense background.Work Environment

The core working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for up to 5 hours of overtime during training. You will report to the Processing Planner Manager and work closely with two other team members in the department. The role involves working with aerospace products and requires a meticulous approach to documentation and process planning.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00
