SUMMARY:

As the Process Quality Engineer, you will apply standard engineering techniques to your assigned tasks, ensuring that quality, quantity, and timeliness targets are met to achieve department goals. This is a long-term contract position.
Benefits Package Health Benefits PTO Competitive pay based on experience Long term contract (18 months) with direct hire potential Shift Information First Shift – 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline - Preferred Engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Aerospace - Preferred Experience in manufacturing, particularly in assembly and/or machining General Requirements Ability to effectively read, analyze, and interpret data, engineering drawings, and technical procedures Expertise in writing process planning steps and generating work instruction methods Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills (both oral and written) Essential Functions Document technical data for components, assemblies, and systems in alignment with quality policies and procedures Prioritize and execute multiple concurrent process improvement projects, independently or within a multifunctional team, to enhance customer satisfaction and business productivity Provide advanced quality engineering support for processes or automated equipment Apply standard engineering techniques to assigned tasks, ensuring goals for quality, quantity, and timeliness are achieved in line with department objectives Conduct training sessions on quality assurance concepts and tools Maintain and enhance process documentation to ensure consistent quality in the assigned area
