We are seeking a **Process Safety Advisor** to join our high-performing team in Magnolia, Arkansas. This is a strategic role with direct influence on the safety and reliability of our operations, offering the opportunity to lead critical safety initiatives and mentor the next generation of engineers. **Your Impact** As a Process Safety Advisor, you will: + **Lead Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs)** across all PSM-covered processes, ensuring robust risk identification and mitigation. + **Drive safety innovation** through advanced methodologies such as LOPA, critical instrumentation reviews, interlock verification, and MOC training. + **Champion continuous improvement** by following up on PHA findings, incident investigations, and root cause analyses. + **Partner with capital project teams** to support PHA/LOPA needs and participate in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs). + **Mentor and train** new engineers in technical safety systems, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. **What You Bring** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in **Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering** + Minimum **5 years of experience** in a chemical manufacturing environment + Proven experience in **leading or participating in PHAs** + Strong understanding of OSHA PSM standards and process safety best practices **Preferred Qualifications:** + Proficiency in **Phast modeling, Facilex, MOC systems, and SharePoint** + Experience in facilities handling **flammable and toxic chemicals** + Prior leadership experience (Team Lead, Supervisor, or Superintendent) + Flexibility to support operations during weekends, holidays, or off-hours as needed _Magnolia site employees should be aware of both the Albemarle Magnolia Site Quality Policy and the Albemarle Magnolia Site Quality Objectives plus understand how their role contributes to each._ _Employees are required to follow and support the requirements of our quality management system which is available on the ISO Sync site and can be accessed through Albert by all site workers._ \#LI-JH3 **Benefits of Joining Albemarle** + Competitive compensation + Comprehensive benefits package + A diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally.
