Process Safety and Compliance Coordinator

Responsibilities:
• Promote the Company's EHS philosophy and culture.
• Assist in Preparation and submittal of annual emissions and hazardous waste inventories as required.
• Assist in continued implementation of and adherence to the Company's EHS Management Plan.
• Assist operations with Management of Change (MOC), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Pre Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR), closure of assigned action items, Ops Info/Maximo implementation and administration, Operating and Maintenance procedures, and Assist with the overall improvement of PSM program.
• Work with plant and field personnel to identify solutions to arising EHS issues and audit findings.
• Assist operations in Risk Management and Incident Investigation processes including facilitating root cause analysis of reported incidents, near misses, injury, or vehicle collision.
• Promote Behavior Based Safety principles.
• Assist in Maintaining safety equipment in proper working order and coordinate required inspections, maintenance, calibration/testing, and replacement as required.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of compliance review policies and procedures.
• Assist with, coordinating, and conducting EHS-related training.
• Participate in Emergency Response planning, preparation and efforts.
• Participate in corporate Technical Work Groups, as appropriate.
• Will carry a company-provided cell phone/pager and respond during working and non-working hours.
• Willing to work around plant/production vessels and piping systems containing H2S and hydrocarbon gases which are flammable and may be explosive under certain circumstances.
• Operate a company vehicle.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
• Other duties as assigned.
