Responsible for compliance oversight of the site PSM/RMP (Process Safety Management/Risk Management Plan) program by driving consistent and standardized processes that align with Global standards and applicable regulatory requirements resulting in minimized risk to employees, CSL and the community.
This role is onsite in our Manufacturing facility and is an individual contributor role. You will report directly to the Associate Director of EHS.

The RoleCollaborate with plant and operations leadership and serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding interpretation of federal, state, and local PSM and RMP standards and regulations.
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a robust PSM system aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) of systems using HAZOP, LOPAs, What-If, FMEA techniques, and PHA support systems such as PHA Pro/Works.
Review engineering designs and project proposals to identify potential process safety concerns during project development.
Responsible for continuous improvement programs to prevent major accidents and protect employees, property, and the environment. Work with operations, engineering, and others to mitigate risks and promote a strong safety culture.
Facilitate and manage pre-start up safety reviews for new and existing systems to ensure design standards are approved, documentation/procedures are adequate, and training meet Global and regulatory requirements.
Manage and drive the change management process, ensuring proper tracking and documentation in the Enablon, EHS management software. Lead and/or collaborate with leaders to build a consistent change management plan, including timely communications to stakeholders, global partners/collaborators (if applicable) for synergy, and impacted employees.
Your skills and experienceBachelor’s degree (Engineering or Chemistry, Biology or other life science discipline) required
7 plus years of EHS related experience and leadership.
Experience in a PSM role within the chemical manufacturing or life science industry.
Extensive knowledge of process safety principles, methodologies, and industry standards
Experience with conducting hazard identification studies (HAZOP, PHA, LOPA).
The expected base salary range for this position at hiring is $115,000 - $144,000. Please note this salary range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay that CSL expects to pay for this position at the listed location as of the time of this posting. Individual base salary for a successful candidate is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors. In addition to base salary, total compensation for this role may also include incentive compensation and equity.
