Support the development, prototyping, and process optimization of injection molded components within a regulated industry environment.
Job Requirements:
Associate degree and 3+ years of related experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience
Injection molding experience
Experience working in a regulated industry
Knowledge of new product development (NPD) processes
Hands-on prototyping and performance testing experience
Preferred Skills:
Scientific molding and molding process development experience
Familiarity with CAD software and mechanical drawings
Experience qualifying tooling and fixtures
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, set up, and run injection molding processes for component production
Troubleshoot and optimize underperforming molding processes
Collaborate with process development and manufacturing teams to refine prototype molding methods
Prototype and deliver components for testing and evaluation
Construct and document prototype concepts using mechanical drawings or CAD
Qualify and maintain tooling and fixtures for production readiness
Build and test products according to engineering instructions
Support project teams in defining specifications and quality standards
Perform routine maintenance of select lab equipment and support equipment strategy
Provide guidance and mentoring to peers and junior team members
Train production staff on the proper implementation of NPD processes
Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
