DescriptionAs a Process Engineering Technician, you will sustain all front side production tools and processes in Etch, including lot disposition and tool re-quals. In addition, you will be responsible for providing support for all wet clean, wet etch, dry semiconductor etch, dry silicon nitride etch, metal lift-off and resist strip.
Responsibilities
Partner with and provide support to Process Engineers with the following: process characterization and optimization using DOE methods, continuous improvement of Cp/Cpk on all critical process steps, qualification of new tools for production, including documentation, training and certification of production operators/technicians, and support of all process development projects. Perform tool re-quals, lot dispositions, respond to SPC out of control events, identify problems and take corrective action. Learn and provide support, as needed, for Thin Films/Photolithography areas as well. Required Experience and SkillsAS or equivalent two year technical degree or a high school degree with a minimum of 2 years semiconductor experience. Direct experience and knowledge in one or more of GaAs Fab wafer processing areas; Etch, Photolithography, Thin Film-Ion Implant or TWV. Working knowledge of SPC, PROMIS and MS Excel. Must possess excellent skills in problem solving, teamwork, and verbal and written communications. Preferred Experience and Skills Knowledge of DOE, FMEA and Six-Sigma basics. Etch experience. Experiences in trouble shooting of semiconductor equipment, mechanical fixture design & test, basic electronics, and software languages.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $21.06 - $36.30 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
