Process Technician 3rd Shift Lead

We’re currently seeking a Process Technician – 3rd Shift Lead to help guide our production team and drive shift performance. The Process Technician – 3rd Shift Lead role ensures the shift team operates efficiently, safely, and in alignment with production goals. This hands-on position is responsible for overseeing shift operations, holding team members accountable to daily responsibilities and performance metrics, and acting as the first point of contact for technical and process-related issues during the shift. Key Responsibilities: + Lead and support the shift team to meet production, quality, and safety goals + Monitor process performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain consistent operations + Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, quality standards, and shift targets + Provide real-time coaching and accountability to team members + Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and maintenance teams + Document shift performance, process adjustments, and any incidents or downtime + Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement + Audits processes to ensure Scientific Molding principles are in place + Confidently communicate relevant information back to appropriate quality and program management associates so they can relay accurate and timely information to clients + Awareness of regulatory and customer requirements (ref. ISO13485). + Other work as determined by the Operations Manager Qualifications and Skills: Five (5) or more years’ experience injection molding utilizing RJG scientific molding practices (Master Molder I Certification preferred and Master Molder II certification a plus). Experience with ISO13485 a plus Experience in advanced process problem solving Essential Functions: Work performed in a manufacturing environment. Normal mobility to move around a manufacturing environment, able to conduct work at a press and computer. Frequently walks, stands, grips/grasps, bends/stoops, crouches, and lifts and carries up to fifty (50) lbs.
