This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters. This role is responsible for correctly, safely and efficiently packaging and warehousing salt products for a salt packaging facility. **Job type:** Full time **Shift available:** 2nd **Compensation:** $20.00/hr **Benefits** + Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance + Health and Wellness Incentives + Paid Vacation and Holidays + 401(k) with Cargill matching contributions + Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) + Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance + Employee Assistance Program (EAP) + Tuition Reimbursement + Employee Discounts **Principal Accountabilities** + Optimize drying including loader break relief + Mobile equipment operation including forklifts for van truck and flat bed loading + Perform building housekeeping tasks + Collect samples, quality testing and product storage + Coordinate hauling of trash salt/recycle bales + Use of a computer systems to monitor equipment and data entry + Setup and packaging equipment operation **Required Qualifications** + Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship + Must be 18 years or older. + Ability to perform physical job duties which may include shoveling, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation + Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) + Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) + High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience + Basic use of a computer + Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice **Preferred Qualifications** + Prior experience in manufacturing and/or production-related work + Forklift experience + Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP and/or HMI + Experience operating and troubleshooting industrial equipment (ex., packaging machinery, etc.) + Ability to understand and communicate in English and Spanish (verbally and writing) Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
