Summary

Reporting to the Assembly Supervisor, as the Process Technician - Painter/Masker, you will be involved in the preparation and the spray application of primer along with topcoat, and sealant on aircraft components machined on site.

Work Shift: Weekend Nights Shift - Friday - Sunday; from 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

Responsibilities:

Cleaning, masking, attaching fixtures and demasking

Booth and equipment maintenance

Part loading/unloading

Participation in cross-functional training in related processes as required

Provide support to ongoing implementation of lean principles, along with workplace organization and TPM

Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum Grade 12 diploma

Must be able to lift and manipulate up to 40 pds on a regular basis

Demonstrated eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity

Demonstrated ability to follow strict safety practices and procedures

Successful candidates must meet all ITAR & CCGP requirements

Preferred Qualifications

3+ yrs related experience in an industrial painting environment

Previous crane operation experience is an asset
