How will you make an impact?
As a Process Technician Trainee, you will work closely with senior technicians (Tech II, III, and IV) to meet production schedules while learning critical skills in troubleshooting and the injection molding process. This role offers hands-on experience in mold setup, process monitoring, and quality assurance.
What will you do?Production Support:
Review daily schedules to determine required startups and changeovers.Pull and set molds, including preventive maintenance (PM) tasks.Perform mold setups, including mold hanging, watering, robot setup, and machine startup.Inspect startup parts visually before submitting them to quality.Process Monitoring and Documentation:
Perform daily audits to ensure processes remain within established tolerances.Document quality, maintenance, or tooling issues according to GMP standards.Maintain accurate records of daily activities and any recurring issues.Training and Learning:
Develop troubleshooting skills by working with senior technicians.Learn to adjust park-picking robots and handle minor equipment adjustments.Maintenance and Cleanliness:
Clean molds daily and document cleaning activities.Maintain cleanliness and organization of machines and work areas.Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety and health regulations.Comply with company security policies and procedures.How will you get here?Education and Experience:
Associate degree, Technical School Certification, or strong mechanical background.Ability to perform well on a mechanical aptitude test.Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.Benefits
