**Position Overview**
TheManager,Engineering Services,reporting to the VP of Engineeringand Asset Development, willbe responsible foroverseeing all aspects of the Engineering Servicesgroup, includingdevelopingspecifications for new equipment;reliability engineering; support for new projects such as expansions and construction or system modification, for both GMP and PD facilities.

**Job Description**
**_Essential Functions:_**
+ Responsible for taking a lead role inspecification and procurementprocessforbio-technologyand critical utility equipment,both Upstream and Downstreamandto ensure equipment is compatible with the overall vision of the facility
+ Responsible fortraining and developingsubordinateengineersin engineering processesin a GMP compliantmanner.
+ Assistin troubleshooting and with process improvements andrecommendationsand coordination with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing forchange controls on GMP equipment.
+ Providessupport forother utility andMCRsupport systems, including environmentalcontrol equipment,monitoringsystems,and analyticallaboratory equipment.
+ Able to work with operators and techniciansas well asresearch scientists and equipment vendors and engineers.
+ All other duties as may be assigned.
**_Required Skills & Abilities:_**
+ Strong written,verbaland interpersonalcommunicationsskills.Must be able to writeand editequipment specifications, User Requirements Specifications, operatingproceduresfor new equipment,as well asdraft and editpreventative maintenance procedures for technical equipmentas needed.
+ Desireto work in a fast paced,state of the art,alternatelyresearch and customized manufacturing facility.
+ Ability to work quickly and effectively without constant supervision.
+ Strong analytical andproblem solvingskills and experience applying these skills to resolve technical problemson complex bio-technology equipment.
+ Proficient inMS Officeproducts(Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project).
+ Experience incomputerized instrumentation, micro-processor controlledoperations,and micro measurement equipment.
+ Able toassistin settingup departmental budgets, estimatingand trackingdepartment expenditures,establishingcost tracking systems to forecast and track extra-departmental expenses.
+ Experience inanFDA regulated facility and equipment maintenance to include clean utilities, such as pure water systems, upstream and/ or downstream equipment.
+ Strong leadership abilities.
+ Other duties as assigned.

**_Minimum_** **_Qualifications:_**
+ Bachelor’sDegree preferably in Engineeringsuch as Electrical, Chemical or Biomedicalwith a minimum ofseven(7)years’ experienceinengineering and maintenancein an FDA regulated facility,with at least three(3)of those years in a direct leadership role.
**_Preferred_** **_Qualifications:_**
+ Manufacturingexperience in a bio-pharmenvironment.
+ Experience in process improvements, reliability engineering, and CAPAs in a Bio-Pharma facility.
