Starting pay $24.27
All duties consistent with following our established SOP's to ensure the proper transfer of dairy products from blending to processing, to identified filling system in accordance with the production run schedule.Efficient operation of the process equipment to include the high temperature heat exchange systems equipment, rigs, tanks, pumps, product lines, valves, fittings and components.Follow all established Product Processing guidelines to ensure product meets our internal Saputo, State and Federal Pasteurized Milk Ordinance requirements.Effective communication and coordination with other departments to ensure product is processed and supplied in accordance with our production run schedule, product end of run, and product change-overs.Perform equipment CIP/SIP/COP/Sanitation and complete dept. clean-up and general housekeeping as required.
Other duties as required by management.Job RequirementsMinimum of (2)-two years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, dairy food manufacturing experience preferred.Advanced training with a concentration in dairy science, a plus.Strong math skills.Strong PC skills, MS Excel, ERP systems, SAP a plus.Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift.Working with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment and following approved chemical handling procedures.Physical lifting up to 40-lbs frequently throughout the shift. Lift 50+ lbs with assistance.Shift flexibility. This is a hands-on role for a 24/7 manufacturing facility. Our equipment operators are assigned to a team on a shift, 24/7 operation to support manufacturing. This can either be days, swing or night shift and weekends.
