Processing Operator
Frito-Lay is seeking inclusive and committed Processing Operators who will be responsible for operating an industrial fryer, the seasoning distribution, or both.

As a Processing Operator, your work schedule will be 40 to 50 hours per week. We offer generous starting wages and unbeatable benefits, including health care (dental and vision), retirement savings benefits including 401(k) with company contributions, vacation days and much more.

As a Processing Operator, you can expect to work on your feet the entirety of your shift near heavy machinery in a loud manufacturing environment. We always wear the proper protective equipment. Frito-Lay manufacturing facilities are also large. While we want everyone to feel comfortable, our ability to control the temperature is limited. Indoor manufacturing working conditions are impacted by seasons and the weather.

Here is a list of some of the more frequent tasks you can expect to perform during a typical work day:

o Capability to operate both the Fryer Operator position and Seasoning Operator Position

o 100% Good Manufacturing Practices & Food safety compliance

o 100% process control compliance - correct completion of all process control paperwork including but not limited to the following:

· Start Up Checklists

· Shutdown Checklists

· Waste tracking sheets

- 100% Meeting compliance - attendance for necessary meetings scheduled for your shift,, including but not limited to the following:

· Team meeting (Pre-shift)

· Safety Training

· Food safety training

o 100% Team Member engagement - consistently demonstrate engagement behavior that models Frito-Lay values and beliefs

o Attendance - carefully tracked and monitored, must comply with all attendance policies

o All process control paperwork must be turned into Resource at the end of each shift

o All shift exchanges are to take place on the processing floor to allow oncoming operator to accept responsibility for the floor

o Any excess waste outside of goal will need to have a brief explanation written on the processing report for the shift

Other Requirements:

Be able to demonstrate basic computer skills

Be able to work all applicable shifts on a regular basis (including weekends & holidays) and work overtime when needed

Be able to lift 50 pounds, lift hoses, bolt flanges and operate valves and similar equipment routinely

Be able to climb ladders/stairs and work at heights

Be able to work in tight or closed-in spaces

Able to work in extreme environmental conditions
