As a PROCT Central Process and Equipment Engineering (CPEE) Photo Track Principal Engineer at Micron, you will be responsible for leading and providing close support to Micron Photolithography Track network to enable SCALE, MAXOUT, YIELD, QUALITY and COST leadership through close collaboration with global partners and site leadership teams. Your expertise in Photo Track hardware, systems and applications is essential to drive Track equipment excellence, benchmark performance, align Best Known Methods (BKM) and governance network Track Business Process (BP) and projects through established network governing bodies such as Track Technical Authority (TTA) and Track Copy Smart Teams (CST).

You'll be working closely with various teams like PEE Groups, Technology Development, Procurement, and the Central Team, as well as interacting with equipment suppliers to address manufacturing issues. Effective collaboration with manufacturing sites, Quality Engineering, and other cross-functional departments is key, with an exciting element of international travel to achieve your goals.

Role and responsibilities

Ensure a safety-first culture for all program and project solutions.Support network Track installation to meet TIQ (Tool Installation Qualification) goals.Close collaboration with network Photolithography Track suppliers (TEL, alternate suppliers, etc) and internal stakeholders (HVM fabs, Central Teams, Technology Development teams).Drive network Track defect reduction and Machine Matching Management (MMM) to achieve industry best-in-class performance in Track productivity (Wafers Per Day) and Process matching through best practices establishment, problem solving techniques and analytical up skill.Lead Track Technical Authority (TTA) with Track Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to govern network Track areas of focus (E.g. Future tool configurations, Hardware, Recipe, Defectivity).Drive and facilitate governance meetings and cross-collaboration projects with internal and external stakeholders to achieve Micron Strategic Initiatives (E.g. Cost, Yield, Quality, Maxout, Environmental Sustainability).Demonstrate strong communication and reporting skills to provide regular Executive updates on project progress, challenges, and escalation for resource support.Demonstrate ownership and accountability in delivering results.Coach network Track leaders and groom future Track generation leadership.Proactively identify bottlenecks, drive improvements, and share best practices across HVM fabs.

Job Requirements and Skills:

Photolithography Track Equipment Start-up: Expert in Photo Tracks installation, TIQ, base build, pre facilitation. Green field startup is an advantage.Photolithography Track Equipment Troubleshooting: Expert in Photo Track hardware, systems, and applications. Proven record of hands-on component level troubleshooting is an advantage.Photolithography Track Applications Troubleshooting: Expert in Photo Track defect analysis, isolation, design of experiment (DOE) and recipe troubleshooting. Proven records of site-level or network-level solution deployment is an advantage.Manufacturing Quality Knowledge: Experienced in Photo Track quality management through Supplier Quality Notice (SQN), Global-Problem-Solving-System (GPSS) and effective 8D Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) closure.Project / Resource Management: Proven excellent project management skills of a cross functional project at site-level or network-level is an advantage.Effective Communication: Skilled in communicating effectively across various organizational levels and geographies. Able to speak Chinese or Japanese or both is an advantage.Customer-Focused Project Management: Proficient in project management with a strong customer focus.Continuous Learning Advocate: Continuous learning on the job and provide technical mentoring for peers.

Education and Experience Requirements

Minimum 4 years’ experience working as Photo Process and Equipment Engineer (PEE) or Photo Track Engineer (Tool Owner)Bachelors/master’s degree in engineeringAt GJS E3 or higher with increasing responsibility and technical leadership experience.
