Procurement Analyst
Job description The role
The Procurement Analyst shall support the Procurement Lead on handling all operational requirements of various teams and departments with the objective of acquiring the goods and services at the most cost saving way and top most quality. Role also requires a administration and reporting.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Procurement and Sourcing
1.     Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure completeness and clarity of the requirements and set expectations. 2.     Performs sourcing of vendors as based on requirements and specifications. 3.     Compares and analyzes the price and quality of goods and services from various suppliers 4.     Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts, contracts with suppliers, prepare, and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, supplies and services. 5.     Review, recommend and provide justification in ordering of goods and services based requirements and certain budget approvals provided by the management. 6.     Coordinates purchase of goods and services between the requestor and the identified vendors. 7.     Ensures that all purchase requests are processed, attended to efficiently and in a timely manner. 8.     Provides sourcing recommendations of preferred vendors and solutions aligned with specified requirements 9.     Processes orders and oversees related activities of third-party vendors to ensure orders flow effectively through systems and processes in accordance with the organization's customer service standards
Vendor and Contract Management
1.    Negotiate favorable payment terms and specification. 2.     Handles vendor accreditation and assessment. 3.     Manages vendor commitments and service delivery. 4.     Performs contract reviews, re-evaluates existing contracts and provide recommendation to the management. 5.     Ensures that contracts are compliant with government rules and regulations. 6.     Monitors contract renewals and ensure review and assessment are handled in advance. 7.     Continuously strives to increase the number of vendor options to ensure optimum options are available at all times 8. Lead on business critical supplier service improvements and dispute resolution
Administration and Reporting 
1. Completes all supplier due dilligence requests and questionnaires (information gathering and questionnaires completed). 2. Complete applicable Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order conversion and Oracle ammendments to POs and PRs 3. Follow internal contract approval and contract signing process including support and monitoring 4. Manila Supplier Database - monitoring and managing 5. Supplier payments - take a lead on all items related to aged debt or finance queries 6. SLAs - own, maintain and input with Manila Procurement Team 7. General queries from Procurement Team/Stakeholders - responsive be it contractual queries, payment issues etc but fast response required
You will need

• 3 years of relevant experience in Procurement.• Knowledge and experience in Oracle P2P is an advantage• Knowledge and experience in PEZA/BOC rules are advantage• A solid knowledge of standard contract terminology and procurement methodologies • Experience in legal or factual research, contract administration, document preparation and analysis, citation checking and trial preparation is an advantage • Relevant experience in preparing, reviewing and agreeing technical terms and conditions in purchase contracts and service agreements • Strong negotiation skills • Background in business and data analysis and exposure on forecasting and budgeting is an advantage • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications specifically in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
