The Sr. Procurement Analyst supports the day-to-day operations of the Telecommunications spend category by working closely with Procurement leaders to manage key processes such as ensuring timely order fulfillment, handling circuit terminations, and managing any related issues. This role ensures cost management goals are met while adhering to project deadlines and involves building strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers. Additionally, the Sr. Procurement Analyst will work to obtain credits for service outages, manage inventory, and actively contribute to improving procurement processes. The role emphasizes the importance of being a constant learner, asking insightful questions, and demonstrating a willingness to grow. The analyst should possess the aptitude to connect the dots within processes and effectively pick up new tasks, driving efficiency and effectiveness. Focused on delivering high-quality customer service, the analyst will resolve issues efficiently and support process efficiency initiatives. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are essential. Balancing tactical execution with strategic cost reduction initiatives, the analyst ensures effective order management and inventory control while applying strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities Supports Procurement leaders in all elements of managing spend in the Telecommunications category, including timely order fulfillment, circuit terminations, and issue management.Ensures accurate tracking of inventory and manages procurement processes.Works to obtain credits for service outages and discrepancies, negotiating with suppliers when necessary.Provides quality internal and external customer service in line with Company values.Communicates regularly with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and receipt of services, addressing and resolving any issues that may arise.Cultivates and builds strong relationships within the supplier network and internal teams.Manages problems effectively and ensures that updates, changes, and resolutions are communicated and reflected within the appropriate systems.Balances tactical execution with strategic initiatives aimed at cost reduction and improving process efficiency.Drives procurement decisions by aligning customer needs with industry knowledge and following manager instructions.Actively seeks and implements process improvements, both internally and with the supply base.Manages and negotiates supplier agreements, analyzing bids, securing quotes, and working on pricing and contract terms.Ensures that procurement documentation is maintained, and updates are accurately reflected in systems to ensure smooth operation.Performs other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the procurement team. Qualifications Experience in Telecommunications, Sourcing, Procurement, and/or Supply Chain Management.Basic familiarity with procurement tools and processes.Strong organizational, follow-up, and customer service skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Strong willingness to learn continuously, ask questions, and seek understanding of processes.Ability to connect the dots in process management and demonstrate an aptitude for picking up tasks and running with them effectively.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in sourcing, procurement, or telecommunications, and vendor negotiations and contract management.Academic coursework or accreditation in Supply Chain Management or a related field.Industry certifications (CPSM, CPIM, or equivalent) are a plus but not required.ServiceNow navigation and reporting.

It’s important to note the pay range may be narrower than displayed, as various factors are used to determine the offered compensation package including skill set, level of experience, geographic locations, and other relevant factors- i.e. budgetary requirements.
