Job Overview Serve as a specialist in Federal contracting to assist NAVWAR to research, analyze, develop, and implement contracting / acquisitions related policies and procedures. Work may include but not limited to contracting / procurement method, determining supply requirements, evaluation, supplies, and purchase terms. Salary Range: $69K Work Model: Onsite/Office-Based Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: DAWIA Contracting Level II or FAC-C Certification Level I or Industry equivalent (e.g., CPCM or CFCM). Experience conducting pre- and post-award contract actions. Monitoring and evaluating supplies performance and compliances. Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and trends. Assist in contract negotiations and drafting procurement agreements. Creating and maintain procurement reports and dashboards. Job Requirements Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in any technical, managerial, or business discipline or a related subject and relevant experience. U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain and maintain the required intelligence community level clearance. Complete all mandatory training requirements per NAVWAR. Valid state driver’s license. Ability to work additional hours as business needs dictate. Must meet baseline information assurance (IA) certification requirements for an IAT Level II position per DoD 8570.01-M (Security+ or equivalent). Active SECRET Security Clearance Must be able to successfully pass any employment background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
