The Procurement and Inventory Supervisor is responsible for implementing effective supply chain strategies to meet production, inventory and customer demand. The incumbent must have the necessary skills to work in concert with the managers of the various departments to find appropriate solutions in line with established objectives.
Main responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to meet production, inventory and customer demand. Work closely with sales, production and other departments to forecast demand and plan supply chain activities accordingly. Analyze historical data and market trends to ensure accurate demand planning and supply. Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste, losses and stock-outs. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and quality control standards. Work with logistics providers and freight companies to optimize transport routes and reduce shipping costs. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety standards, import/export laws and environmental regulations. Mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions, including the development of contingency plans in the event of emergencies. Perform any other duties as requested.
Requirements:
DEC in chemistry, physics, electronics, or equivalent experience. Minimum of five (5) years experience in semiconductor manufacturing or three to five (3-5) years’ supervisory experience preferably in semiconductor manufacturing activities. Proven ability to manage technicians and/or operators. Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment. Knowledge of capacity analysis software an asset. Excellent organizational and management skills. Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
Good command of spoken and written French and English.
