Procurement Assistant

The Procurement Assistant is responsible for determining the purchasing needs of the organization. They work with other parts of the organization to forecast demand, evaluate inventory levels, and take orders from within the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of Civil or Electrical Engineering, or related courses Preferably licensed civil or electrical engineers With at least 2 years of experience in procurement
Job Overview:
Negotiate directly with vendors to get the best possible pricing and payment options. Assist in the receipt of purchased materials and services, and keep detailed records of purchases and stocks. Build relationships with suppliers and manage their performance by conducting routine supplier business reviews and evaluating supplier performance and compliance. Manage and maintain purchasing data system for internal tracking tool enabling buyers to focus on purchasing activity. Maintain appropriate documentation for audit and control procedures, in addition to timely and accurately updating purchasing records and data.
