MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo manage an identified portfolio of equipment to a limited specific level, make recommendations and ensure complete administration and support of approved products to ensure optimal value for Mediclinic taking all stakeholders into account
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Equipment Evaluations, Approvals and Administration Maintain constructive and value-adding relationships with suppliers Support Production and Project Teams Departmental Support and Mentoring Information Management REQUIRED EDUCATIONESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

Tertiary qualification (e.g. Procurement, Financial) REQUIRED EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years’ experience in a financial / purchasing / medical fieldDESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Working within a healthcare environment, or having exposure to medical equipment. REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Procurement systems (SAP; Webi; H-Drive, ECRI) Basic Medical Equipment or other and Applications Purchasing processes and associated requirements (Legal, Budget) Product research and Regulatory requirements Logistics and distribution Negotiation skills Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office)All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given in accordance with the Employment Equity Plan of Mediclinic Southern Africa, as well as internal applicants/employees that meet the minimum requirements.
