Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Supplier Management
Identify and evaluate potential suppliersConduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and pricingNegotiate contracts and terms with suppliersManage and maintain positive supplier relationshipsPurchase Order Management (for HQ requirement only)
Create, process, and track purchase ordersEnsure accuracy of order details and specificationsMonitor order status and follow up on deliveriesResolve any discrepancies or issues with ordersCost Analysis and Optimization
Analyze costs and identify savings opportunitiesImplement cost-reduction strategiesPerform total cost of ownership analysesContribute to budget planning and managementContract Administration
Monitor contract performance and complianceManage contract renewals and terminationsMaintain accurate contract documentationCompliance and Risk Management
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and proceduresIdentify and mitigate procurement-related risksStay informed about relevant regulations and ensure complianceReporting and Analytics
Prepare regular procurement reports for managementAnalyze spending patterns and key performance indicatorsGenerate insights to support decision-makingStakeholder Management
Collaborate effectively with internal departmentsCommunicate clearly with suppliers and internal clientsManage expectations and resolve conflicts as neededEthics
Ensure ethical standards are maintained in supplier selection and managementRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
3+ years of experience in procurement or related role
Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and procurement software systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with e-procurement systems
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
Familiarity with sustainable procurement practices
Personal Attributes:
Highly organized and efficient
Strong ethical standards and integrity
Adaptable and able to work well under pressure
Team player with the ability to work independently when required
Continuous learner, staying updated on industry trends and best practices
