Description We are on the lookout for a methodical Procurement Attorney to be a part of our team. This role is centered around the fields of Consumer Electronics and Global Procurement, with a specific focus on Intellectual Property - Licensing. The position is based in Burlington, Massachusetts, 01803, United States. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Review and manage inbound agreements that include Artificial Intelligence (AI) functionality
• Provide expert advice on IP licensing and Licensing Agreements
• Oversee sourcing/procurement legal matters within the organization
• Train to review AI terms within the context of sourcing/procurement
• Ensure compliance with Intellectual Property - Licensing regulations
• Work on agreements related to Consumer Electronics and Global Procurement Requirements • Experience in the field of Procurement Law is essential.
• Proficiency in handling Consumer Electronics related cases and issues.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Global Procurement.
• Expertise in Intellectual Property - Licensing, understanding of the related laws and regulations.
• Proven track record in IP licensing, able to manage and negotiate licensing agreements effectively.
• Experienced in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Licensing Agreements.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) laws and regulations, ideally with experience in AI related cases.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaborative skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach to work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
