As a Procurement Buyer I here at Honeywell, you will support several project management activities in a fast-paced, complex business environment. You will work within a team of collaborative colleagues, working on high-impact projects that move the business forward. You will help your team meet deadlines, track, monitor and summarize progress of projects, and prepare reports for leadership regarding the status and project.
\nYou will report directly to our Sr Strategic Sourcing Manager, and you’ll work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location.
\nIn this role, you will impact the company by driving efficient procurement processes, cost savings, and ensuring a reliable supply chain.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n\nContact Honeywell vendors and request information related the Buy American Act (BAA) process.\nPartners with Category and Commodity leaders to escalate process issues to find resolutions.\nPerform monthly assessments on information and processes related to BAA.\nUse mechanisms for monitoring progress and problem solving with stakeholders.\nSupport BAA and Procurement process improvement activities.\n\nU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
