AAM is looking for a dedicated, self-motivated individual to fill our Procurement Co-op position. This position will report up through our Direct Material team at our World Headquarters facility in Detroit, MI

Job Description

Support Buyers and Strategists for specific categories within the Global Procurement OrganizationReview internal reports (spreadsheets) to assist in consolidation of the supply base and ensure accuracy of contract detailsAssist internal users with purchase order updates and PPAP initiationManage projects as they are provided by the Procurement teamVisit suppliers and AAM facilities with the Procurement/SQE team as time permitsWork closely with other departments within the organizationObtain knowledge of department and its operationsOther duties as assigned

Required Skills and Education

Must be enrolled fulltime in an undergraduate or graduate programAble to work a minimum of 20 hours per weekMinimum GPA of 3.0 requiredGraduation date May 2026 or later preferredFamiliarity with basic supply chain / purchasing principlesComputer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointPrior work/intern/Co-op experience in Supply Chain is preferred
