PM Group have a role for a Procurement Manager to support our projects.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with multi-discipline Engineering\Design, Project Management, Construction Management teams, vendors and different stake holders.
Responsibilities Pre-Qualification of VendorsUpdating information on Vendor databaseFiling and management of Vendor dataPreparation and issue of Request for Quotations (RFQ)Preliminary evaluation of Bids receivedPreparing Quotation reports for Client approvalPreparation and issue of Purchase OrdersExpediting of Vendor informationExpediting of Vendor equipmentPreparing and updating Procurement Status ReportsOther duties as directed by the Project Procurement Manager Qualifications 10 + years of related experience in and a proven track record of capital equipment purchasingIIPMM Certificate / Bachelor or Master degree would be an advantageHigh level of IT skills (word, excel, etc.)Detailed knowledge of purchasing methods and proceduresHigh level of skill to evaluate bids and compile reports for use in determining successful offer Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prepare and maintain complex records and files in an automated systemExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to quickly build relationships with relevant partiesFlexibility and the ability to handle multiple requests from across several areasStrong sense of customer focus and teamworkSelf-starter with the ability to work on own initiative under minimal supervisionKnowledge of Dutch and/or French and English.
