What You'll Do
Lead overall data analytics and reporting team with the objective of using information as a strategic advantage. Shape the procurement analytics strategy, develop and execute a strategic vision for leveraging data and analytics to optimize procurement performance and drive business outcomes.Determine reporting requirements for Procurement and their stakeholders, with focus on thereporting requirements needed to support senior management buying decisions across the firm Drive the optimization and development of procurements information reporting and analytics and enrichment needs. Take a leadership role in the development of a data-driven cultural shift by designing and operationalizing standard supply chain / operations metrics reporting, scorecards, and dashboardfor ongoing communications and monitoring. Develop and populate analytical models to review qualitative and quantitative evaluations and costing scenarios during the bidding process Develops and manages ongoing compliance, performance monitoring, and savings reporting Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations. Lead change management efforts by driving adoption of analytics-driven practices across global procurement functions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Support Strategic Programs: Champion analytics to drive success in critical initiatives, including ESG, supplier diversity, and other global procurement priorities.YOU'RE GOOD AT

8+ years relevant work experience in a related field Experience managing high performing team of analysts Proven ability to work effectively in a global environment with people at all levels, preferably in a professional services organization Proficient using analytical tools and experience with implementation Advanced understanding of enterprise data warehouses, data marts, business intelligence architecture, application and design, ML & AI concepts Sound understanding of core finance processes and principles Sound analytical and reporting skills combined with excellent communication skills; written and oralWho You'll Work With
BCG spends $1.6B on goods and services across the firm globally. At its core, Procurement is accountable for ensuring that BCG is supplied with goods and services that meet business requirements, drive value and at best whole life cost to BCG.
The functional procurement team at BCG is a healthy, yet nascent operating function that has generated material savings to BCG over the past 5 years. Over the past 18 months, we’ve embarked upon a procurement transformation to define and implement strategies, organization, systems and policies to create a sustainable operating model. This model should maximize value from our suppliers, mitigate risk and meet savings targets. BCG is a highly matrixed firm where purchasing decisions are often taken at the local level, therefore this transformation will need to be carried out with high levels of stakeholder engagement, alignment and collaboration.
The BCG Global Procurement function is currently made up of more than 45 procurement professionals located in London, Stockholm, New Delhi, Boston and Munich. This Sourcing Manager position will be supporting our team with sourcing projects on a strategic and operational level.
Scope of work will be global, regional as well as local, requiring procurement experience, relationship building, sell-in capabilities and sensitivity to local requirements. The individual taking on this challenge must possess a very high level of self-motivation/drive, persistency, resourcefulness and a willingness to facilitate change.
