Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development. The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in San Luis Potosí. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tSupport local sourcing team with supplier related activities, including onboarding, master data, account maintenance, and invoicing.•\tAssist purchasing team with master data updates and invoice related topics and reports.•\tApply and implement procurement and logistics tools and procedures to improve timeliness of standard activities and increase the efficiency of MRP.•\tCoordinate reporting tools and monitoring to assist procurement and logistics team with KPIs and business targets.•\tSupport supplier coordination and logistics, including audit requirements, import/export compliance, and OTD.
Qualifications for the role\tBachelor’s degree in Engineering, External Trade or similar.\t1 - 2 years of experience in supply chain roles and activities in manufacturing industry.\tExperience with SAP, MS Office and ability to learn new systems.\tLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge (desirable).\tAdvanced English level.
