It's a colorful world - make your mark by joining the BIC team today. **Procurement Director, Business Partnering** The Procurement Director, Business Partnering - Americas works closely with the business for all Procurement & Packaging Engineering needs. Leading the regional Business Partnering team ensuring the strategy execution and goals achievement through a solid team leadership and development performance. Coordinates the Business Partners and is accountable for the demand coordination activities ensuring procurement performance. Ensures the implementation of the sourcing strategies, P2P deployment with the business and drives demand management. Foster an effective interaction and collaboration with Supply Management, Sustainable Procurement, Center of Excellence, Operational Procurement teams and overseas this with the business need. Reporting to the VP Global Procurement and Packaging Engineering What you'll do: + Create Strategic Planning & Targets: Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) and collaborate closely with business leaders to plan and agree on objectives and delivery plans. Define and secure buy-in and roll-out of the long-term Procurement strategy. + SPOC for VP - GSC Americas: Execute, represent, and oversee the procurement activities in the region. + Translate Business Strategy: Convert the business strategy into procurement plans, providing guidance and advice. + Key Stakeholder Management: Challenge business, communicate, and deliver financial results. + Category Strategy Planning: Gain visibility on business demand and specifications, and drive strategic demand evaluation. + Sourcing Strategy: Assess, create, and support sourcing opportunities in collaboration with Supply Management and Business Partners. + Project Implementation: Realize demand opportunities, support implementation of sourcing outcomes, and provide relevant information to other BIC stakeholders to help them fulfill their responsibilities. + Drive Business Alignment: Oversee packaging engineering business alignment, costing, and profitability management. + Develop New Initiatives: Create new initiatives to help BIC achieve procurement, packaging engineering, and sustainability goals, while managing existing programs already in place. + Collaboration with Procurement Teams and Suppliers: Work closely with other procurement teams and suppliers to ensure alignment with the company’s objectives. + Support Sourcing Sustainability: Ensure that all stakeholders are committed to the company’s sourcing sustainability efforts. + Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks, aligning with procurement to manage these risks. + SPOC for Designated Business Functions: Act as the single point of contact for designated business functions where appropriate. + Procurement and Packaging Engineering Activities: Responsible for understanding all Procurement and Packaging Engineering activities in the region. + Strategic Project Implementation: Drive strategic projects to successful implementation. + Regional Visibility: Create regional visibility through dashboards and KPIs for the VP of Procurement and Packaging Engineering. What you'll need in this role: + Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree preferred + 10+ years of experience in a procurement leaderships capacity + Experience in project pipeline validated with business and analyzing financial results + In collaboration with Supply Management: SRM Strategy, Supplier selection decision matrix, Buying channel strategy, Demand profiles & specs, Sourcing recommendations, Sustainability and Risk mitigation strategies + Packaging concepts and development and designs, cost management + Business Partnering: Demand Management, SLA accomplishment, Number of Suppliers, Spend Under Management, Procurement ROI, Vendor performance, Cost savings, Compliance, Specification & SKU management, Forecast accuracy + Expertise in strategic and tactical procurement processes, Running tenders, Scope of Works, RFI, RFP, Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management, P2P processes + Sustainable procurement: CO2 reduction, Supply waste, Non-renewable materials, recycled materials used, Product recycling rate, Packaging materials recycling rate, sustainable packaging barometer KPIs, % of suppliers that comply with established sustainability strategy + Experience of working with People/HR KPIs (turnover, diversity, engagement, learning) + Innovation metrics: # of Supplier driven innovation delivered per year + Business background collaborating with Co-packing, Innovation, Marketing, Commercial, IT, Finance, Legal / Compliance/ Product safety, Manufacturing, Supply & Deliver, IBP, Operating Expenditure + Managing external suppliers, project consultants and service providers + Knowledge of engineering, procurement, direct and Indirect categories + Understand concepts of packaging, engineering, design and sustainable procurement \#LI-DC1 BIC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
