Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for an innovative Procurement Engineering Specialist to strengthen connections between ourProcurement and Engineering departments. This position is essential for advancing procurement excellence inour product development process. As Procurement Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for integrating procurement expertise into our development process, optimizing costs, quality, and technology while serving as the key interface between procurement and engineering teams.The work model for the role is: #LI-remotePotential hiring locations: EuropeYou will be mainly accountable for :•\tLead and coordinate R&D procurement activities between Technology Project Teams and Procurement teams, managing gate model activities and documentation•\tIdentify, select, and manage suppliers for both prototyping, production and brand labelling, ensuring timely delivery of parts•\tOptimize value chains and develop cost-effective solutions considering packaging, logistics, and risk factors•\tSet and achieve product cost and quality targets while working with project teams for material sourcing•\tSupport supplier development and implement risk management strategies to ensure supply chain resilience

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field with strong technical understanding to effectively interface between Procurement and Engineering teams\tProven experience in procurement, supplier management, and R&D project coordination\tStrong analytical skills for cost optimization, value chain analysis, and risk assessment\tExcellent project management capabilities with experience in gate model methodologies\tStrong negotiation and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams including engineers, suppliers, and procurement managers
