To reinforce the Benelux Procurement departments within the CFO domain, Allianz is seeking a Strategic Buyer / Procurement Expert. If you have proven experience in procurement methodologies, modeling, and certification, and are looking for a challenging role that involves interacting and collaborating with various stakeholders across our Benelux organization, this opportunity is for you.
As a Strategic Buyer / Procurement Expert, you will advise and support the business in their sourcing needs, ensuring compliance with our Procurement Standards. You will manage contract and supplier lifecycles while continuously challenging the business to mitigate risks and maintain compliance. Operating across three countries and covering a full range of insurance services—Life, P&C, Health, and Investment Management—Allianz Benelux offers a diverse and dynamic working environment.

What Will You Do?
Develop and maintain key supplier relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery. Collaborate with senior management to align sourcing strategies with business needs. Identify cost-saving opportunities proactively. Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions. Ensure compliance through vendor due diligence and maintain the supplier management tool. Engage with local and global functions to implement best practices and advocate for the Procurement Standard.
Who We’re Looking For?
We seek a candidate with experience in the Financial Services industry, holding a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal, or a related field. You should possess strong general procurement knowledge and excellent communication and negotiation skills. Experience in business consultancy or project management, along with a solid understanding of business and associated risks, is essential. You should be reliable, result-oriented, and performance-driven. Fluent in English, and proficient in either French or Dutch. Confidence in discussions and the ability to convincingly challenge stakeholders are crucial traits for success in this role.
